I noticed a while back that I have a problem with stealing. I guess it’s the rush I get when I do it. I convince myself I need (or want something) so bad that I have to steal it. I want to get some rehab help, here in North Carolina, but the only things I can find are Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers. Where do I find some help?

For my Senior Project next year, I’m interested in learning how to read Braille, but I want to take lessons for it, not one of those online programs where you teach yourself. Does anyone know how I might go about doing this? If it doesn’t work out, I’m also interested in volunteering at a drug/alcohol rehab center. Is this possible? Would they accept teen volunteers? Any help is appreciated!

The story: Back when I was 15, I was put on both Klonopin AND Xanax by two different docs for an anxiety disorder I never even had (I ended up being diagnosed with BPD, hence the anxiety issues) They told me to take dosage X every day, at X time, so I did as I was told. And I was never told to stop taking them, so I didn’t. But I had no idea that a daily dose of these types of pills could become so severely addictive, so when I eventually tried to get off them, everything turned into a nightmare. I have since found a doc I have stuck with for 7 years and have tried SO many times with her help to wean myself off these terrible pills as slow as possible but because I have BPD, the emotional side effects always became too intense for me to bear alone. She has now suggested that I may need inpatient detox, so that I would have supervised care while trying to get off these benzos, so my question may sound very silly but, would a drug rehab center even admit me if I don’t abuse the pills?
To clarify: BPD=Borderline Personality Disorder.

Their pastor spoke at our church in louisiana about a year ago, and presented to us the ministry they have there in florida. The church campus had many different buildings on it, including drug rehab, womens shelter, etc.

I have been trying to find a long term state funded rehab for my son in NC. I only know of one and they will not take someone with an outstanding court date. My son is in detox right now and trying to get clean and I’m scared if he don’t go to a long term program he will end up getting right back where he shouldn’t be (on drugs)! Does anyone know of a state funded long term drug rehab in NC? Has anyone heard of R.J. Blackley ADATC in Butner NC? Just wondering if that was a good place to go! Need help!!!

i was just wondering how much taxpayer money has been wasted on this congressional investigation. I’m curious to see how many drug rehab programs for non-millionaires could have possibly had benefitted from tax money going towards these hearings.I’d also like hear from TAXPAYERS who support these hearings.Reasons?
