What should you expect from Drug Rehab?

When you make up your mind about entering into drug rehab treatment you should enter into it with your own set of expectations and goals. You have to be prepared to change your life and most importantly you have to realize that ultimately it is you that is going to make your drug rehab a permanent solution to your addiction problems. You have to weight the benefits and gains of different drug rehab programs and choose the best for you. If you are not prepared to do what it takes, than you will not attain sobriety.
It is true that drug rehab treatment comes in many different forms and what may have worked for some may not work for you. You have to make up your mind about whether or not you want to enter into a drug treatment program that treats you as an individual with individual issues or if you want to be treated with a cookie cutter approach. Statistically speaking inpatient drug rehab treatment is far more successful than outpatient treatment, and both are better than just going through drug detox alone.
Although going through drug detox is essential to recovery; treating underlying emotional and psychological problems will get to the core of your addiction and help you to realize what your triggers are and how to avoid them. When you choose to go through inpatient drug rehab treatment you are choosing to fully immerse yourself into drug rehab and expect the best for your efforts. You have to be willing to completely let go of your addiction and let professionals that know what you are going through help guide you through the process. When you choose inpatient drug rehab treatment, you are choosing to do what is necessary to get you through it.
By removing yourself from the exterior influences that continue to fuel and feed your addiction you are making a choice to let go of your past and move forward with your future. The reason that inpatient treatment is effective is that it removes you from the temptation and the weakness you feel towards drugs when you are facing your addiction alone.
Many times a day a drug addict while getting high will vow that this will be the last time. That they don’t need drugs and if they get this one last high it will be their farewell to drugs and addiction. They will do this over and over until they finally believe their addiction is all that they have. Addiction is stronger than most people and will fight the person trying to eradicate it. Addiction will make you feel like you are worthless without it and that you need it to continue through. Addiction is your weakness and you need to gain control of it. It is not a weakness to ask for help.

Me and this guy were seeing each other on and off for about a year. He broke up with me last year. Since then we totally lost contact and ive been tried to txt him couple of time last year but he never reply.
